Your Exam Results Do Not Define You
August can be such a conflicted month, many people on holiday and enjoying the sunshine, and many parents & young people who have sat exams are anxiously awaiting their results. As I flick through my FB feed, it is full of proud parents celebrating their child's achievements - and so you should. But this post is aimed at the parents of kids who didn't achieve what they wanted, what they needed to get to where they wanted to go. Result day will have been a very hard day for lots of teenagers and their parents who have had to make hard decisions that they never thought they would have to make. To all of these people please remember that your kids are worth more than their exam results.
"Exam results can open doors but they never measure kindness, resilience or who you'll become." J. Samuel.
